HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH

   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Headlight Unit Assembly LH)

      Apply battery voltage to the headlight unit assembly LH and check that the light illuminates.

      OK

      Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)	Daytime running light illuminates
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (E)	Clearance light light illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly LH.

2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY RH

   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Headlight Unit Assembly RH)

      Apply battery voltage to the headlight unit assembly RH and check that the light illuminates.

      OK

      Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)	Daytime running light illuminates
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B) Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (E)	Clearance light light illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit assembly RH.
