DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU and the radio and display receiver assembly are connected by the LVDS communication line.

This DTC is stored when an LVDS communication error occurs between the navigation ECU and the radio and display receiver assembly.

LVDS Signal Malfunction (from Extension Module)

When one of the conditions below is met:

  • Video signal (digital) is lost.

  • Navigation ECU is/was not connected while the power switch is/was on (IG or ACC).

  • Communication between the master unit and the navigation ECU is/was not possible when the hybrid control system is/was started.

  • Navigation ECU power source circuit

  • LVDS circuit between radio and display receiver assembly and navigation ECU

  • Navigation ECU

  • Radio and display receiver assembly

  • No. 1 navigation wire

Tip:
  • Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the auxiliary battery condition or hybrid control system start voltage.

  • The radio and display receiver assembly is the master unit.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE (NAVIGATION ECU POWER SOURCE)

      Disconnect the navigation ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the Y1 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the Y5 navigation ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
