DESCRIPTION

When the sliding roof drive gear assembly (front roof sunshade ECU) detects a motor malfunction and the sliding roof operation is stopped, DTC B2347 is stored.

When the sliding roof drive gear assembly (front roof sunshade ECU) detects a gear position malfunction and the sliding roof operation is stopped, DTC B2349 is stored.

  • When the sliding roof drive gear assembly (front roof sunshade ECU) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof drive gear assembly (front roof sunshade ECU) must be initialized.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY - MAP LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the N4 sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the N7 and N9 map light sub-assembly connectors.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N4-9 (DWN) - N9-16 (DOWN) Always Below 1 Ω
      N4-5 (UP) - N9-15 (UP) Always Below 1 Ω
