DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when the parking assist ECU receives a wheel speed sensor (front speed sensor RH or front speed sensor LH, rear speed sensor RH or rear speed sensor LH) abnormality signal from the electronically controlled brake system via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK FOR DTC

    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here

      Chassis > Panoramic View Monitor > Clear DTCs

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

      Chassis > Panoramic View Monitor > Trouble Codes

      OK

      DTCs C164D and C1658 are not output.

      Tip:

      If the parking assist ECU cannot read the stored information when activated, allowing the ECU to store the information again may return the system to normal.

      Tip:

      • The DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the electronically controlled brake control system.

      • If troubleshooting and repair of the malfunction in the electronically controlled brake system have been completed, DTC C164D and C1658 will not be output again when rechecking for DTCs.

      • If DTC C164D is stored frequently, duplicate the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC is not output when rechecking for DTCs.
