REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY(for Sedan) INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
INSPECT REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

Component without harness connected
(Rear Turn Signal Light Socket)
Disconnect the rear combination light assembly connector.
Apply battery voltage to the rear turn signal light socket and check that the lights come on.
OK
Condition
Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (TRN)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (E)
The turn signal light comes on
If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the rear turn signal light socket.

INSPECT TAIL AND STOP LIGHT SOCKET (for Halogen Headlight)

Component without harness connected
(Tail and Stop Light Socket)
Disconnect the rear combination light assembly connector.
Apply battery voltage to the tail and stop light socket and check that the lights come on.
OK
Condition
Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (STP)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)
The stop light comes on
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (TL)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)
The taillight comes on
If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the tail and stop light socket.

INSPECT TAIL AND STOP LIGHT SOCKET (for LED Headlight)

(Tail and Stop Light Socket)
Disconnect the rear combination light assembly connector.
Apply battery voltage to the tail and stop light socket and check that the lights come on.
OK
Condition
Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)
The stop light comes on
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (E)
The taillight comes on
If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the tail and stop light socket.
