REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab) REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


  1. INSTALL FOLD SEAT STOPPER BAND ASSEMBLY

      *1 No. 1 Seat Cushion Frame Lock Plate

      Connect and rotate a new connecting wire to the No. 1 seat cushion frame lock plate.

    2. A01DZTO

      Connect the fold seat stopper band assembly to the connecting wire.

    3. A01DXSC

      Using needle nose pliers, bend the ends of the connecting wire together.

    4. A01DZW3

      Return the fold seat stopper band assembly to its original position.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PAD


    1. A01DUZ4

      Install the No. 1 seat cushion pad to the No. 1 seat cushion frame.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Pass the fold seat stopper band assembly through the 2 holes of the No. 1 seat cushion cover to the surface.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the center of the No. 1 seat cushion cover to the No. 1 seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

    3. for TSAM Made:

        *1 Hog Ring Pliers
        *2 Fastener

        Close the 2 fasteners.

      2. Using hog ring pliers, attach the 2 wires at the rear of the No. 1 seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the cover.

        • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    4. for TMT Made:


      1. A01DVYFE02

        *1 Hog Ring Pliers
        *2 Fastener

        Close the 2 fasteners.

      2. Using hog ring pliers, attach the 2 wires at the rear of the No. 1 seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the cover.

        • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION

    1. Install the 2 rear seat cushions with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK PAD


    1. A01E0KD

      Install a new No. 1 seatback pad to the No. 1 seatback frame.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER

    *1 Hog Ring Pliers

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the center of the No. 1 seatback cover to the No. 1 seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the No. 1 seatback cover to the No. 1 seatback frame with new hog rings.

      Note

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Install the rear seatback assembly to the rear seat cushion assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. A01E0WZ

      w/o Center Headrest:

      Attach the 8 claws to install the 4 rear seat headrest supports.

    2. A01DWO8

      w/ Center Headrest:

      Attach the 12 claws to install the 6 rear seat headrest supports.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH

    *a Washer installed between rear seat leg bracket LH and rear seat cushion cover LH

    1. Attach the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat cushion cover LH with the screw.

    3. If the washer was installed between the rear seat leg bracket LH and rear seat cushion cover LH:

      Install the washer.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG BRACKET LH

    *a Washer installed between nut and rear seat leg bracket LH

    1. If the washer was installed between the nut and rear seat leg bracket LH:

      Temporarily install the rear seat leg bracket LH and washer with the nut.

    2. If the washer was not installed between the nut and rear seat leg bracket LH:

      Temporarily install the rear seat leg bracket LH with the nut.

    3. Tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER RH

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT LEG BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)


    1. Install the rear center seat headrest assembly.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 rear seat headrests.
