AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) IG Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The main power source is supplied to the air conditioning control assembly when the ignition switch is ON.

The power is used for operating the air conditioning control assembly, servo motors, etc.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the D19 air conditioning control assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      D19-10(IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      D19-10(IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D19-16(GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
