FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TRUNK AND FUEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Trunk and Fuel Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        G73-2 (B) - G73-3 (L) Switch on Below 1 Ω
        G73-2 (B) - G73-3 (L) Switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the trunk and fuel switch assembly.

    2. Inspect the illumination operation.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the trunk and fuel switch assembly connector, and check that the trunk and fuel switch assembly LED illuminates.

        OK
        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        G73-1 (ILL+) - Battery positive (+)

        G73-5 (ILL-) - Battery negative (-)

        		 LED illuminates

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the trunk and fuel switch assembly.
