  3. CHECK AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

    Standard voltage

    11 to 14 V

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

    Tip:

    A simple method to determine whether the auxiliary battery is depleted is to operate the horn.

    1. Check for DTCs and make a note of any codes that are output.

      When DTCs indicating CAN and/or LIN communication system malfunctions are output, repair the CAN and/or LIN communication systems before performing diagnosis.
