MASS AIR FLOW METER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Tech Tips

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.

   
   

   • w/ Canister Pump Module:

   1. Install the 2 mass air flow meter sub-assemblies with the 4 screws.

      Note

      
      

      • If the mass air flow meter sub-assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      • If reusing the mass air flow meter sub-assembly, be sure to inspect the O-ring.

      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or does not move out of place during installation.

   2. Connect the 2 mass air flow meter sub-assembly connectors.
