FUEL TANK REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT FUEL TANK WIRE

      Disconnect the fuel tank wire.

  3. DISCONNECT TANK RETURN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the fuel tank return tube sub-assembly. Click here

  4. DISCONNECT TANK MAIN TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly.

  5. DISCONNECT FUEL TANK BREATHER TUBE

      Disconnect the clip and fuel tank breather tube.

  6. REMOVE FUEL HOSE PROTECTOR

      Detach the 2 claws to remove the fuel hose protector from the fuel tank to filler pipe hose.

  7. DISCONNECT FUEL HOSE NO.3

      Loosen the clamp bolt, and disconnect the fuel hose No.3.

  8. REMOVE FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the bolt, and disconnect the parking brake cable No.3.

    2. Support the fuel tank, with the transmission jack.

      Remove the 6 bolts, 2 fuel tank bands and fuel tank assembly.

  9. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the fuel tank wire, fuel evaporation No.1 tub sub-assembly, fuel tank main tube sub- assembly and fuel tank return tube sub-assembly from the fuel sender gauge assembly.

    2. Remove the fuel evaporation No.1 tube sub-assembly, fuel tank main tube sub- assembly and fuel tank return tube sub-assembly from the fuel hose grommet.

    3. Remove the fuel hose grommet from the fuel tank assembly.

    4. Remove the 8 bolts, fuel pump gauge retainer, fuel suction tube set gasket and fuel sender gauge assembly.
