PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly)

      Inspect the rear door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L67-1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Not pushed Below 1 Ω

      Tech Tips

      Connect the negative (-) tester lead near the bolt hole.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear door courtesy light switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

      Inspect the rear door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L40-1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Not pushed Below 1 Ω

      Tech Tips

      Connect the negative (-) tester lead near the bolt hole.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear door courtesy light switch assembly.
