AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR(for Sensor 2) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

   Tip:

   Perform "O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset" after replacing the air fuel ratio sensor.

   1. 

      *a	Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length

      Using SST, install the air fuel ratio sensor.

      09224-00011

      Specified tightening torque

      50 N*m

      510 kgf*cm

      37 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      Tip:

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

      • When using SST (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 255 mm (10.0 in.)):

        45 N*m (459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf)

   2. Engage the 2 clamps.

   3. 

      *a	Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Connector
      *b	Bracket
      *c	1.5 mm (0.0591 in.) or less

      Engage the air fuel ratio sensor connector to the bracket as shown in the illustration and connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

2. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK

3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 ENGINE UNDER COVER

   1. Install the front No. 3 engine under cover with the 4 clips.

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

   1. Perform "O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset" after replacing the air fuel ratio sensor.
