THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY GASKET

*a	Protrusion

Install a new throttle body gasket to the intake manifold with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

Install the throttle body with motor assembly to the intake manifold with the 3 bolts.

7 ft.*lbf

Note:
If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
Connect the water by-pass hose assembly to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure it.
Connect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUPPORT

Install the air cleaner cap support to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

Set the air cleaner cap sub-assembly on the air cleaner cap support, No. 2 ventilation hose and cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
Insert the air cleaner cap sub-assembly into the air cleaner cap support.

Note:
Insert the air cleaner cap sub-assembly until its stopper contacts the air cleaner cap support.
Engage the air cleaner cap sub-assembly to the No. 2 ventilation hose and cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
Slide the clip to secure the No. 2 ventilation hose.
Engage the 4 clamps.

ADD ENGINE COOLANT

INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

PERFORM INITIALIZATION

Note:

Be sure to perform this procedure after removing and reinstalling the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components.
Perform the following procedure after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body with motor assembly is cleaned.
