DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a communication error occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0123 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h or 1 mph or more, a communication error between the yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0129 Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more. U0142 Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B" 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0155 Lost Communication with Combination Meter 2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the combination meter sub-assembly and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 50 seconds or more. CAN communication system
U0293 Lost Communication with HV ECU While the vehicle is being driven at 1 km/h or 1 mph or more, a communication error between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more. CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (ROAD SIGN ASSIST SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Road Sign Assist / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

    6. Perform the following procedure.

      Tech Tips

      If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 1 minute or more.

      2. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 1 km/h or 1 mph or more for 5 seconds or more.

    7. Check for DTCs.
