DESCRIPTION

The television display assemblies and multi-display controller sub-assembly are connected via AVC-LAN communication.

This DTC will be stored if an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the multi-display controller sub-assembly and a television display assembly.

  • A television display assembly is/was not connected while the engine switch is/ was on (IG) or (ACC).

  • Communication between the master unit and a television display assembly is not possible when the engine is started.

  • AVC-LAN circuit between multi-display controller sub-assembly and television display assembly

  • Multi-display controller sub-assembly

  • Television display assembly

  • Harness or connector

Tech Tips

Even if no malfunction is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or engine start voltage.

      • Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect AVC-LAN communication.

      • This DTC may be stored when an AVC-LAN communication error occurs due to electrical noise.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Disconnect the e5 television display assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
