EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  4. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY INSULATOR

  6. REMOVE BATTERY

  7. REMOVE EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

      White-colored Lock

      Slide

      *c

      Push

      Slide the white-colored lock of the EGR gas temperature sensor connector as shown in the illustration to release it and disconnect the EGR gas temperature sensor connector.

      Slide the clamp and disconnect the hose.

      Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the EGR gas temperature sensor.

      Note:

      If the EGR gas temperature sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.
