DIESEL THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

Disengage the 2 clamps.

Using a T27 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts (A).
Remove the bolt (B) and wire harness clamp bracket.

REMOVE NO. 3 AIR HOSE

Loosen the hose clamp and remove the No. 3 air hose from the air tube assembly.

REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

Water By-pass Hose Assembly

Radiator Hose Sub-assembly
Disconnect the water by-pass hose assembly and radiator hose sub-assembly from the air tube assembly.

Detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

Disconnect the No. 7 engine wire connector and disengage the clamp.

Using a T27 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the bolt and separate the air tube assembly from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 bolts, diesel throttle body assembly with air tube assembly and gasket from the intake manifold.
Note:If the diesel throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the air tube assembly from the diesel throttle body assembly.
Remove the gasket from the air tube assembly.

Disconnect the diesel throttle body assembly connector.
