EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note:

    If the exhaust gas temperature sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.

      Disengage the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector clamp.

    2. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 MANIFOLD CONVERTER INSULATOR

  5. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD STAY

  8. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note:

    If the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.

      Disengage the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector clamp.

    2. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, loosen the union nut.

    3. Remove the nut, No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector clamp and No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    Note:

    If the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.

      Disengage the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector clamp.

    2. Using a 14 mm union nut wrench, remove the No. 3 exhaust gas temperature sensor.
