2WW Engine
The 2WW engine is an in-line 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter, 16-valve DOHC turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler.
This engine uses a direct injection system and common-rail system to achieve higher performance, clean emissions, low noise and low vibrations.

2AD-FHV Engine
The 2AD-FHV TOYOTA Direct injection 4 stroke common-rail Diesel engine (D-4D) is an in-line 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter, 16-valve DOHC turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler.
This engine uses a direct injection system and common-rail system to achieve higher performance, clean emissions, low noise and low vibrations. In addition, this engine uses the Diesel Clean Advanced Technology (D-CAT) system to reduce emissions.

This engine uses a direct injection system and common-rail system to achieve higher performance, clean emissions, low noise and low vibrations.
This engine has 2 types; one type (models with DPF catalyst) uses both the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) catalyst and oxidation catalyst, and the other type (models without DPF catalyst) uses the oxidation catalyst only.

It has been developed to achieve high performance, quietness, fuel economy and clean emissions.

These systems have been developed to achieve high performance and fuel economy, and to reduce exhaust emissions.

A specification compatible with alcohol high-sulfur fuel (E20-S400 ppm) is provided.

Suspension
A MacPherson strut type independent suspension is used for the front.
A double-wishbone type independent suspension is used for the rear.
Brake
A ventilated disc brake is provided for the front brake.
A drum-in type solid disc brake is provided for the rear brake.
The following brake control functions are provided: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), brake assist, Auto LSD, Traction Control (TRC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), hill-start assist control, downhill assist control and trailer sway control.
Steering
A rack and pinion type steering gear assembly is used.
An Electric Power Steering (EPS) system is used.
A manual tilt and telescopic mechanism is used.
A heated steering wheel system is used.
