    1. Mirror Heater System (Models with Mirror Heater System)


      1. The mirror heater system uses a heater element in each mirror to help remove frost and dew from the mirrors.

      2. The mirror heaters are controlled by the air conditioning amplifier assembly.

      3. The mirror heaters operate at the same time as the rear window defogger system.

      4. The mirror heater system is activated when the ignition switch is ON, and rear defogger switch is pushed. The air conditioning amplifier assembly keeps the mirror heater on for approximately 15 minutes. Also, under the specified conditions*, the mirror heater may be operated for up to an additional 45 minutes (maximum).

        *: Power generated by the generator assembly is stable and outside temperature is low.
