  1. INSPECT SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (Shift Paddle Switch (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly) LH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Shift Paddle Switch (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly) LH:
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      SDN - ECC Shift paddle switch LH (-) operated Below 1 Ω
      SDN - ECC Shift paddle switch LH (-) not operated 10 kΩ or higher

      If the resistance values are not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) LH.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Shift Paddle Switch (Transmission Shift Switch Assembly) RH:

      SUP - ECC Shift paddle switch RH (+) operated Below 1 Ω
      SUP - ECC Shift paddle switch RH (+) not operated 10 kΩ or higher

      If the resistance values are not as specified, replace the shift paddle switch (transmission shift switch assembly) RH.
