OUTLINE
The cooling system is a pressurized, forced-circulation type. The radiator reserve tank assembly is not pressurized.
A bottom bypass format with a thermostat with a bypass valve positioned on the engine water pump assembly has been adopted.
Cylinder head sub-assembly cooling has been improved, and the cylinder block's water temperature has been stabilized, by optimizing flow distribution with isolated cooling circuits for the cylinder block and cylinder head sub-assembly.
The out end of the heater hose has had an air release valve installed to reduce the air reservoir.
Automatic transmission vehicles are outfitted with transmission oil cooler assembly to raise the warm-up speed of the automatic transmission fluid, reduce automatic transmission friction, and improve fuel efficiency at low power unit temperatures.
Toyota Genuine 50/50 Pre-mixed Super Long Life Coolant BLUE is used.

Toyota Genuine 50/50 Pre-mixed Super Long Life Coolant BLUE is used. The maintenance intervals are as shown in the table below:

Tech Tips
SLLC is pre-mixed (50% coolant and 50% deionized water). Therefore, no dilution is needed when SLLC in the vehicle is added or replaced.
