BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the upper instrument panel sub-assembly (Click here).

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly (Click here).

  3. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING

      Remove the brake pedal return spring from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN

    1. C199497E03

      Remove the clip and push rod pin from the brake pedal.

  5. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the stop light switch assembly (Click here).

  6. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and separate the brake pedal support sub-assembly from the instrument panel reinforcement.
