ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

   1. 

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

   2. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

   3. Connect the connector.

   4. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      7.5 N*m

      76 kgf*cm

      66 in.*lbf

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

   1. Pass the hood lock control cable assembly through the hood lock control cable cover.

   2. Attach the claw to install the hood lock control cable cover.

   3. Install the 2 bolts.

      7.5 N*m

      76 kgf*cm

      66 in.*lbf

3. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

   1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the hood lock release lever protector.

6. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
