FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the RH side.


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

    A01E2HZE01

    1. Place the seat in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Occupant detection sensor:

      Connect the connector under the seat.

    3. Install the seat with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

    4. Pass the inner belts through the hole of the seat cushion.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER LH (for Double Cab)


    1. A01E2BWE01

      Attach the 5 claws to install the cover.

  4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for Double Cab)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION


    1. Perform initialization Click here.

      Note

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
