POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Door Key Cylinder

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives door key cylinder lock or unlock switch signals from the front door with motor lock assembly (for Driver Door). The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (Door Key SW-Lock, D Door Key SW-UL)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Driver Door)


    1. Remove the front door with motor lock assembly (for Driver Door).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Driver Door) - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H23*1 or H6*2 front door with motor lock assembly (for Driver Door) connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the G17 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
