HEATED STEERING WHEEL SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The heater elements, control thermostat and breaker thermostat are incorporated inside the steering wheel.

    2. The heater elements warm up the surface of the steering wheel by flowing current.

    3. The heater elements are arranged in HI and LO circuits.

    4. 2 thermostats maintain the surface temperature of the steering wheel.

    5. The control thermostat on the HI side is used to shut off current to the HI circuit, while an breaker thermostat is used to shut off current to both HI and LO circuits.
