ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Tech Tips


  • When using the GTS with the power switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

  • Refer to the GTS operator's manual for further details.


  1. CHECK FOR IMMOBILISER DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Entry&Start / DTC.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  3. CLEAR IMMOBILISER DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Entry&Start / DTC.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

  4. CLEAR HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

    5. Clear the DTCs.
