FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

Tech Tips

When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the front bumper assembly into position.

      B007Z37 Install in this Direction

      Temporarily install the front bumper assembly with the 2 clips as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the 4 bolts.

      *A w/ Panoramic View Monitor System
      *B w/ Pre-crash Safety System
      *a Tape

      w/ Panoramic View Monitor System:


      1. Connect the connectors of the taped wire harnesses.

        Note

        As the connectors of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly and front television camera assembly are the same shape, make sure to connect each to the correct connector.

      2. Remove the tape.

    5. w/ Pre-crash Safety System:


      1. Connect the connector.

    6. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and connect the headlight cleaner hose.

        Note

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

    7. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly, connect each connector.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    8. Engage the 4 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    9. Install the 8 screws.

    10. Install the front bumper assembly with the 2 clips.

  2. CONNECT FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 5 claws and 2 clips.

    2. Connect the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly LH with the 4 clips.

  3. CONNECT FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 9 clips.

  5. ADJUST FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  6. ADD WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  7. ADJUST FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)
