PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)

    1. Install the purge valve (purge VSV) with the screw.

      3.4 N*m

      35 kgf*cm

      30 in.*lbf

      1 to 5 mm (0.0394 to 0.197 in.)

      Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV).

    3. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

      Tip:

      Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

    4. Connect the wire harness clamp to the purge valve (purge VSV) bracket.

    5. Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
