PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.

PRECAUTION FOR NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Note
When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
The radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU may not operate normally.
After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, if "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the navigation ECU.
After replacing the navigation ECU, if "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the radio and display receiver assembly.
PRECAUTIONS FOR INSPECTING POWER SOURCE FOR MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) (w/ Door Control Battery)
The vehicle battery supplies power to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the door control battery. If a main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) power source malfunction occurs, the door control battery may be malfunctioning.
