ROOF HEADLINING (for Single Cab) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear No. 2 side rail spacer LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SIDE RAIL SPACER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL SIDE RAIL SPACER (for LHD)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the side rail spacer.

  4. INSTALL SIDE RAIL SPACER (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LHD.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SIDE RAIL SPACER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front side rail spacer LH.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SIDE RAIL SPACER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. A01DZ4M

        Place the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the roof headlining assembly when placing it.

      2. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 5 clips.

      3. Connect the connectors and attach the 4 clamps.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A01DWKM

        Place the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

        Note

        Be careful not to damage the roof headlining assembly when placing it.

        Install the roof headlining assembly with the clips.

      3. Connect the connectors and attach the 5 clamps.

    3. Attach the 4 clamps to the front pillar.

  8. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Defroster)


    1. Attach the 4 clips to install the defroster nozzle assembly.

  9. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the No. 3 heater to register duct.

    2. Install the clip.

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the No. 1 heater to register duct.

    2. Install the clip.

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. Install the No. 2 heater to register duct with the 3 clips.

  12. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 3 guides, 2 claws and 3 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

  13. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP (w/ Assist Grip)


    1. Install the assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to close the 2 covers.

  15. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the visor holder LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  16. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the guide.

  18. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect the light connector.

    2. Install the room light with the 2 screws.

      Attach the lens with the 4 claws.

  20. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH


    1. Attach the 3 clips to install the quarter inside trim board LH.

    2. Connect the front seat belt shoulder anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. Attach the 2 claws to close the front seat belt shoulder anchor cover.

  21. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  22. INSTALL LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL LH


    1. Attach the 3 clips, claw and 2 guides to install the lower quarter trim panel LH.

    2. Connect the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  23. INSTALL LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH


    1. Attach the 5 clips, 4 guides and 4 claws to install the upper back panel garnish.

  25. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. w/ Curtain Shield Airbag:


      1. Remove the protective cover.

    2. Attach the 2 guides and 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.

  26. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  27. INSTALL FRONT ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Assist Grip)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both front assist grip sub-assemblies.


    1. Install the front assist grip sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  28. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP PLUG LH (w/ Assist Grip)

    Use the same procedure for both assist grip plugs LH.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the assist grip plug LH.

  29. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP PLUG RH (w/ Assist Grip)

  30. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

    1. Align the paint mark on the front door opening trim LH with the mark position on the vehicle and install the front door opening trim LH as shown in the illustration.
