FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION

  • w/ Pre-crash Safety System:

    When the front bumper is damaged or deformed due to an accident or contact with other objects, etc., or the bumper installation area on the body is repaired, it is necessary to perform millimeter wave radar sensor adjustment.

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the front bumper upper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Install the 2 clips.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Attach the claw to install the front bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the screw.

    3. Install the clip.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  5. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      50 N*m

      510 kgf*cm

      37 ft.*lbf

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER CENTER STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the front bumper center stay sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

  8. INSTALL COOLER (AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR) THERMISTOR

  9. INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Install the front bumper No. 2 energy absorber.

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

    1. w/ Fog Light:

      Connect the 2 fog light connectors.

    2. Connect the main engine room wire connector.

    3. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Connect the headlight washer hose.

    4. Attach the 8 claws to install the front bumper cover.

    5. Install the 2 bolts and clip.

    6. Install the center hood cushion and 2 radiator grille protectors.

      Install the pin hold clip and screw.

      Tip:

      • Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is vertical.

      • Use the same procedure for both pin hold clips and screws.

    8. Install the 4 screws.

    9. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

  13. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD LH

    1. Attach the clamp to install the front fender front splash shield LH.

    2. Install the 3 screws.

  14. INSTALL FRONT FENDER FRONT SPLASH SHIELD RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING
