DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (network gateway ECU) and tire pressure warning ECU and receiver are connected using 2 direct lines that they use to communicate with each other.

B1247 In diagnostic mode, an applicable RDA signal cannot be received within 10 seconds with the ignition switch ON.

Note


  • When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the GTS and write them down before removal.

  • It is necessary to perform initialization (See page ) after registration Click here of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU after the ECU has been replaced.

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU) -TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the H28 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector and the D6 main body ECU (network gateway ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H28-4 (BRDA) - D6-7 (RDA) Always Below 1 Ω
      H28-5 (BPRG) - D6-6 (PRG) Always Below 1 Ω
      D6-7 (RDA) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D6-6 (PRG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      H28-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
