GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  1. PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH

    1. Partially remove the front fender liner LH.

      Tip:

      It is not necessary to fully remove the front fender liner LH.

      Partially remove it so that the glow plug controller assembly can be removed.

  4. REMOVE GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 4 glow plug controller connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and glow plug controller assembly.

  5. REMOVE GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET

    1. A297135

      Remove the 4 screws and 2 glow plug controller brackets from the glow plug controller.
