The AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) stores this DTC if the sensor value received from the height control sensor is out of range when performing initialization of the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly); for example, the vehicle is not level or being jacked up.

Note:

If the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly).

  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

    1. Perform initialization of the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly).

      • Before initializing the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly), make sure that the vehicle condition is proper for initialization.

      • Be sure to perform initialization as instructed.

  2. RECHECK FOR DTC

    1. Using the GTS, recheck for DTCs.

      DTC B2452 is not output.

      Tip:

      If the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) stores DTC B2452 even though the ECU has been initialized as instructed, there may be a malfunction in the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly).
