CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR(for EC69) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

  1. INSTALL CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the clutch accumulator assembly to the manual transaxle assembly with the 3 bolts.

      11.8 N*m

      120 kgf*cm

      9 ft.*lbf

    2. C274609N01

      Temporarily tighten the bleeder to accumulator tube and accumulator to flexible hose tube (B).

    3. Install the clutch hose with a new clip (C).

    4. Using a 10 mm union nut wrench, install the bleeder to accumulator tube and accumulator to flexible hose tube to the clutch accumulator assembly (B).

      15.2 N*m

      155 kgf*cm

      11 ft.*lbf

      Note:

      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).

      • Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a union nut wrench.

    5. Connect the clutch line clamp to the manual transaxle assembly with the bolt (A).

      11.8 N*m

  2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID

  3. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

  4. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

  5. INSPECT FOR FLUID LEAK

    Tip:

    Check for leaks in the clutch system.

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY CARRIER (w/ Glow Plug Controller)
