FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

Tech Tips

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

    1. Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

    1. Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

    1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the claws from the rear side of the scuff plate.

  4. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

    1. Disconnect the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

  5. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 3 clips, and remove the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw and front door courtesy light switch assembly.
