  • Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the parking assist monitor system.

  • *: Use the Techstream.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE

    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

  3. CHECK AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM

    1. Refer to the audio and visual system (for radio and display type with intuitive parking assist system) Click here.

  4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*

  5. CHECK FOR DTC*

    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Click here.
