INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK CONNECTION OF NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD

    1. Check if the navigation antenna cord is securely connected to the extension module.

      OK
      Navigation antenna cord is securely connected.
    NG

    SECURELY CONNECT NAVIGATION ANTENNA CORD

    OK

  2. REPLACE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

    1. Replace the navigation antenna assembly with a known good one and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

      2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

        OK
        No DTCs are output.
    NG

    REPLACE EXTENSION MODULE Click here
