DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates an abnormality in the power management control ECU.

When both of the following conditions are met:

  • STP signals input to the power management control ECU supervisory CPU and control ECU are different for 0.15 seconds or more

  • 0.4 seconds have passed after cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the power management control ECU

Tech Tips

The power management control ECU receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function activates and remains on until the power switch is turned off.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (DTC P0575)

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the Techstream on.

    4. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    5. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.

      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button).

      3. Push the cruise control switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed using the cruise control system.

    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / DTC.

    7. Check for DTCs.
