OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS INSPECTION

  1. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR RH

    1. Check the outer mirror heater operation (w/ Blind Spot Monitor System).

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 25°C (77°F) 7.6 to 11.4 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the outer rear view mirror RH.

    2. Check the outer mirror heater operation (w/o Blind Spot Monitor System).

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 25°C (77°F) 7.6 to 11.4 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the outer rear view mirror RH.

  2. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR LH

    1. Check the outer mirror heater operation (w/ Blind Spot Monitor System).

      1. Measure the resistance according the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 25°C (77°F) 7.6 to 11.4 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the outer rear view mirror LH.

    2. Check the outer mirror heater operation (w/o Blind Spot Monitor System).

      1. Measure the resistance according the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 25°C (77°F) 7.6 to 11.4 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the outer rear view mirror LH.
