WASHER MOTOR INSPECTION

  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the washer jar.

    2. Disconnect the windshield washer motor and pump connector.

      Tech Tips

      The check should be performed with the windshield washer motor and pump installed on the washer jar.

    3. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

    4. Connect a auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal A54-1 of the windshield washer motor and pump, and a negative (-) lead to terminal A54-2.

    5. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar.
