FUNCTION
Front Power Seat Control System
The front power seat control system can be used to control the driver seat and front passenger seat using the front power seat switch assembly.
The memory function controls by the position control ECU assembly.
Each function of the front power seat control system operates as follows:
| Function | Outline | |
|---|---|---|
| Manual Control | The user can perform seat slide, seat reclining, front vertical, seat lifter, lumbar support, cushion length*1 and headrest height adjustments by operating the front power seat switch. | |
| Memory | Memory | The memory function can memorize 3 different seat positions. |
| Recall | The recall function can recall 3 different memorized seat positions. | |
| Memory Call | The memory call function, which utilizes the key IDs, is used to memorize and retrieve the optimal driving positions for a person possessing the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly. | |
| Automatic Away | The seat slide*1 and lumbar support move to the rearward, making it easier to exit the vehicle. | |
| Automatic Return | The automatic return function automatically returns the seat to the previous position before starting the vehicle. | |
| Remote Control | Front passenger seat can be manually operated from the driver seat for hospitaality to front passenger seat occupant. | |
| Front Passenger Seat Full Front Control*2 | The front passenger seat can be retracted to the foremost position and returned back to the original position by pressing the automatic switch located on the integration control panel assembly twice. | |

DIAGNOSIS
The position control ECU assembly has a diagnosis function. The position control ECU assembly stores a record of any power seat control system failures in its memory in the form of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). DTCs can be read by connecting the Techstream to the DLC3.
