| Position Control ECU Assembly RH/LH |
|
| Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) |
|
| Combination Meter Assembly | Sends vehicle speed signals to the position control ECU assembly RH or LH. |
| Rear Multiplex Network Door ECU LH/RH | Inputs signals from the rear seat memory switch and sends switch operation signals to the position control ECU assembly RH or LH via communication. |
| Rear Multi Operation Panel |

SYSTEM CONTROL
Seat Position Memorize Operation
When memorization operation conditions are met and the position control ECU assembly RH or LH receives a memory switch [Set Memory] signal, the current seat position is memorized.
When seat position memorization is complete, a buzzer sounds for approximately 0.5 seconds.
Seat Position Recall Operation
When recall operation conditions are met and the position control ECU assembly RH or LH receives a memory switch [1] or [2] signal from the rear multiplex network door ECU RH or LH, the buzzer sounds for approximately 0.1 seconds and the seat adjuster motors and seat support pumps are driven until the current recognized seat position matches the memorized seat position.
Door Open Return Operation
By operating the rear multi operation panel, set the door open return function.
When the position control ECU assembly RH or LH receives a rear door courtesy switch on signal after the door open return function has been set, the slide and seatback center folding positions are moved to the rear end position, reclining position is moved to the front end position* and the ottoman position is moved to the low end position*, respectively.
*: Models with ottoman mechanisms
During memory operations, operation stops and transitions to door open return operation.
FUNCTION
Seat Position Memorize Function
If the [Set Momory] switch on the rear multi operation panel is pressed while the power switch is on (IG), the seat position (seat slide, reclining*, tilt, ottoman* extraction/contraction, headrest up/down, headrest front and back, seatback center folding, lumbar support up/down, lumbar support front/back and back pelvis positions) when the switch was pressed is memorized by the system.
*: Models with ottoman mechanisms
Seat Position Recall Function
If the memory switch [1] or [2] switch on the rear multi operation panel is pressed while the power switch is on (IG), the seat position (seat slide, reclining*, tilt, ottoman* extraction/contraction, headrest up/down, headrest front/back, seatback center folding, lumbar support up/down, lumbar support front/back and back pelvis positions) memorized by the system is simultaneously recalled.
*: Models with ottoman mechanisms
Ottoman contraction is performed simultaneously with ottoman retraction. If ottoman retraction is not performed, ottoman contraction is performed first.
Headrest up/down operations are performed simultaneously with headrest front/back operations. If the headrest front/back operation is not performed, the headrest up/down operation is performed first.
Door Open Return Function
When a rear door is opened, the seat position (slide, independent reclining, vertical, ottoman deployment/retraction, ottoman expansion/contraction, headrest front/back, center folding, lumbar front/back and back pelvis positions) moves to the rear end position.
Power Seatback Center Folding Mechanism
When the shoulder support adjustment switch is operated, the 2 shoulder bladders located on the left and right are expanded using the pump assembly.
When the bladder between the resin pan and urethane material expands, the expansion pressure of the bladder pushes the urethane material forward, causing the rear seatback to fold in the center.
