FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM

  1. CONSTRUCTION

    1. 2WD Models

      1. The front upper No. 1 suspension arm assembly, front upper No. 2 suspension arm assembly and lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly are made from forged aluminum to achieve weight reduction and high rigidity performance.

      2. The bushes of the front upper No. 1 suspension arm assembly, front upper No. 2 suspension arm assembly and lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly use a low torsional rigidity structure. As a result, high riding comfort is achieved through smooth suspension strokes.

      3. The front lower suspension arm assembly uses a forged iron construction that minimizes its cross-sectional area to achieve the top-class smallest turn radius amongst competitors.

      4. A large compliance bush is used for the front lower suspension arm assembly to reduce shocks from harshness and other sources. Also, a liquid-filled type bush, which can ensure high damping force, is used to reduce fluttering and shaking vibrations. As a result, high riding comfort is achieved.

      5. A forged aluminum steering knuckle is used to achieve weight reduction and high rigidity performance.
