OUTLINE
The cooling system is a pressurized, forced-circulation type.
A cooling fan control system in which the cooling fan controller optimally controls the cooling fan speed is used. For details, see the 8GR-FXS ENGINE CONTROL section.
TOYOTA Genuine Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) is used.
A water-cooled type engine oil cooler is used on specified models.
A heater water pump (heater accessory assembly) is used. For details, see the HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING section.

Engine Coolant
TOYOTA Genuine Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) is used. The maintenance interval is as shown in the table below:

Tech Tips
SLLC is pre-mixed (50% coolant and 50% deionized water). Therefore, no dilution is needed when SLLC in the vehicle is added or replaced.
