PANORAMIC MOON ROOF SYSTEM


  1. CONSTRUCTION


    1. The sliding roof drive gear assembly (roof sunshade) includes the sliding roof motor, drive gear (integrated with worm wheel) and sliding roof ECU.

    2. The sliding roof drive gear assembly (panoramic moon roof) includes the panoramic moon roof motor, drive gear (integrated with worm wheel) and panoramic moon roof ECU.

    3. A resin belt has been adopted for the drive cable, and due to the improved sliding performance, sliding friction and operation noise have been reduced. Furthermore, the improved torque transmission efficiency allows motor torque to be reduced, enabling a more compact motor to be used.

    4. Along with integrating the gear cover portion and rear housing, the drive gear and worm wheel were integrated, allowing a more simplified construction.

    5. Hall IC


      1. The 2 Hall ICs send pulse signals synchronized with the rotation of the roof sunshade motor (or panoramic moon roof motor) to the respective CPU inside the roof sunshade ECU (or panoramic moon roof ECU).
