OUTLINE
An outer slide type sliding roof system, which is equipped with various functions such as a one-touch type auto function, jam protection function, etc., is provided.
A key off operation function, warning function and key-linked operation function are provided to achieve superior usability. In addition, the functions can be turned on and off via the customization function as desired. Refer to the Repair Manual for details.
A tilt switch and slide switch are provided for sliding roof operations and positioned on the map light assembly.
The location and moving direction of the sliding roof glass sub-assembly are detected via a Hall IC. Also, an initialization operation is required when the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly is removed and installed during an inspection, service, etc.
